Centrally located in St. Margaret's Bay between Lunenburg (a World Heritage UNESCO Site 40 min away), Halifax (the capital of Nova Scotia 25 min away) and world famous Peggy's Cove (12 min). We are a unique property with a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Scent-free, ground level & we operate 'Green'. SMB Sailing Club is 5 min away!
270' of Oceanfrontage affords you immediate access to the beach. Hiking or beachcombing on the adjacent island. Private dock with sheltered anchorage, and large, very private deck. Outfitted canoeing, fishing, tennis.
Your Kingfisher Suite is a/c with a solid king bed, spacious and sunny with oceanfront views. Included is a hot/cold beverage station & 'welcome' truffles. Victorian decor includes Battenburg linens and down duvet. Two comfortable, new cots for extra guests or children. TV/VCR/DVD and clock/radio. Private 4-pc ensuite with toiletries, hair dryer, plush robes, grab bars and radiant heater in shower/tub. We have an extensive VHS/DVD library. Variety of reading materials, puzzles and board games in the den. Refreshments served in the screen room overlooking the Bay.
Your extensive, fresh continental breakfast buffet is served as early as 6:45am. Candlelight service includes fruit and/or yogourt dishes, an assortment of cereals and fresh-baked breads and goodies, as well as delicious breakfast beverages. Al fresco or room service also available. The perfect romantic getaway, or bring the family for a beach visit. Children under nine stay free and most pets welcome with notice. $120 - $150 night
Kingfisher Landing accepts reservations from mid-April until October 30th. Kingfisher Suite is $120.00 per night; $15.00 per extra guest. No deposit is required, but a credit card # will guarantee the suite for your booking. King bed plus two new cots can accommodate extra guests or a family of four. Children under 9 n/c. Weekly rate - 7th night free. Cancellation policy is five days prior to reserved date to avoid any charges, unless the suite is rebooked. AMCC.

Driving directions |
|
|
Travelling along Hwy#333 (Peggy's Cove Road), the Indian Point Rd is 6.0km from Upper Tantallon (at the Crossroads) to Glen Haven, or 19.5km from Peggy's Cove. Follow Indian Point Road 2.5km until it meets up with Sunset Drive and continue 1.0km to the end of the loop, #223 Sunset Drive.
